9. ask them about when a leader (any party)
decides that political speech = a threat and "reason" to rifle through their stuff. What if that speech included as a tag for spying included any criticism of any former president - Reagan or Clinton... ? When one branch is given unbridled consent to define "threat" with NO oversight by anyone, with no regard to other branches of government, is there a point that they can see which goes too far? If so, just where is that point?
