77. That's A Non-Sequitur
Edited on Sat Dec-16-06 05:56 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
Let me preface my remarks by saying I support Barack Obama and and am reading his book now. I also bought it for my neighbor for Christmas. Now that I got that out of the way...

I said I'm surprised and disappointed that someone as intelligent as Barack Obama smokes. Your response was to give me a picture of President Bu$h who presumably doesn't smoke.

intelligent
adj 1: having the capacity for thought and reason especially to a
high degree; "is there intelligent life in the
universe?"; "an intelligent question"
2: possessing sound knowledge; "well-informed readers"
3: exercising or showing good judgment; "healthy scepticism";
"a healthy fear of rattlesnakes"; "the healthy attitude of
French laws"; "healthy relations between labor and
management"; "an intelligent solution"; "a sound approach
to the problem";"sound advice"; "no reasonable explanation
for his decision"
4: endowed with the capacity to reason

I don't see your point.... You could have just as easier given me a picture of Homer Simpson or the patriachal figure from "Married With Children" whose name escapes me. They don't smoke. Or Trent "Fucking" Lott

There is abundant evidence that smoking creates health problems for yourself and the others around you. I am sad and disappointed that someone as intelligent as Barack Obama smokes and wishes he would stop. I also wish that all smokers stop.
