186. Sometimes...
...it helps to say something like, "I'm new at this -- can you explain".

An example...say you go to a restaurant for dinner, and your server is really slow, messes up the drinks, forgets your side of mayo for the fries, and takes forever to bring you the bill. You are frustrated, because that's not how it's 'supposed' to work. If only that server had said, upon first greeting you, "Hi, this is my first day waiting tables, and I'm still trying to figure it all out."

Doesn't that change things? You now understand and have more patience. :Shrug: That's how I see it, anyway. Good luck to you -- I wish I had cared more about politics when I was 16. :)
