to lash out at any convenient middle eastern enemy after 9-11 and bush gave it to them. there was contradictory evidence all over the place from credible sources (even with the MSM attempt to black out all non-war-cheerleading information); any one who made even a cursory effort to investigate the grounds for war would have found this stuff, and millions did! Add this to the fact that it was obvious that BushCo wanted war so bad that they could taste it, this should have made the american people skeptical from the beginning and made them demand an extremely high level of proof of the need to enter in to a *first strike, pre-emptive war against an enemy that had not attacked us first!* i can't get all worked up about blaming bush, because the truth is that the vast majority of the american people and the congress were complicit in it. Would that it were not so.
