27. the Republican Party Always Had Disdain for American's Freedoms

for they truly believe only a certain type of people should be protected by the Constution, hence the great dislike for the ACLU, which protects EVERY AMERICAN, and not just a chosen few.

And yes, I've had republicans say it to me... they don't believe everyone should have the same rights...
