make the argument that America has never been free and it's history would point to this but that might also distract from how regressive these innumerable fascistic policies of the Cheney junta have been in the last 6 years. At present they are sort of just capping it off as they prepare for harder economic times, energy decline, and the inevitable social upheaval.
