... and reference texts! I guess it was only a matter of time before they started on the flags. I used to have a "tacky souvenir day" in my cultural geography course, where I asked students to bring in the ugliest souvenirs they could find (domestic and international) and we used those to examine preconceptions about various countries and regions around the world, vs. reality. I guess that sort of thing will be banned next (if they confiscate my "North American Cities" snowglobe collection when I'm boarding an airplane).

Boy, at this rate our classes are going to be so boring that students will just not bother registering, rendering us jobless. Maybe that's Lynne Cheney's master plan!
