Many of the hostages say he was one of the hostage takers, they spent 444 days there, and as far as I know, they as a whole have no political axe to grind, and they have never made an organized effort to end his election hopes. How can you make it through the day being so paranoid? Is there anyone in whom you trust? Should they have brought his i.d. back with them? I don't think they had that option.
