Lord knows if it did, we'd never have seen guys like Nixon and the BFE in the White House and no liberal would ever be a loser. We also would not be in a place where we have so many jokes in the common vernacular about politics and corruption.
We Dems are (and have been for quite a while)lousy about proving our points to the voters. We just expect we can say "Vote for us we are morally superior" and it will translate into a win on election day.
Bad news, kids, it just doesn't work that way and taking aim on each other just makes it that much harder to win.
