I don't have the skinny on this, but I'll bet we stall for time.

Israel has signalled they intend to stand down from their wider offensive (whatever that means). I think it's a signal that the US is finally exerting the pressure needed to keep Israel from dictating the course of the agreement with their continuing aggression.

The thing that is still hanging out there is what Hizbollah will do, in the interim, and after they 'agree' in the UN. I wonder WHO will broker that, in the open or in private? The Arabs? I hope there's someone talking to Hizbollah at the same time. The rockets should be stopped.
