I fully expect that your post will go unheralded by the OP groupies, and surely my opinion will mean even less among the "pitt faithful" since I've only been here for a couple of months, but your post strikes me as well considered and well written.

He (the self proclaimed "magic man") is "just another DUer, no more or less important than any others", but he seems to have a hard time wrapping his mind around that.

And you're right, the same crap happens all over the internet. When freepers engage in this kind of behavior, progressives and DUers rightly dump on them loudly and proudly, as it should be. But when it happens here.... a whole bunch of sycophants step up to the plate to act as freeper stand ins.
