49. A sad update...
Hispanic boy dies at Shriners Hospital, Klein.

Thursday, April 27, 2006; Posted: 14:05 p.m. EDT (18:05 GMT)

SPRING, Texas (AP) -- A 16-year-old Hispanic boy who was earlier admitted to the Shriners Church hospital at Klein has died.

The boy had been admitted to hospital after earlier being sodomised with a pipe by two older boys at a party that got out of control. The victim was found smelling of bleach. It is thought the attackers covered the boy in bleach to hamper DNA evidence of the crime.

The father of the boy has spoken out against the attackers,

"My boy would not of knowingly kissed a 12 year old white girl if he knew her age. Who can tell these days with the lipstick and the alcohol. This is a sad and terrible day for my family and I."

The mother of the deceased was to distraught for comment.

The Houston homicide divison have expressed their condolances to the victims family and are continuing with their investigation.
