6. The Republicans practice selective interpretation of The Bible...
They choose to believe only what doesn't impact them. Divorce would prevent them from having multiple partners, so to preserve the sanctity of marriage, they condemn the gay lifestyle and the plan the gays have for converting everyone over to homosexuality. :eyes: Right.

The Bible forbids killing, so they do it in the name of freedom and democracy, and to protect life. This also applies to abortions, but of course, it's hypocritical to fight to save the life of an unborn, yet support killing of adults. So, they ignore that one.

Lying? It's for the good of the people. It's OK. For them, not for anyone else.

Cheating? Stealing? Coveting? All OK. For them alone, not anyone else.

See? If you are selective in how you interpret these things, it can be done successfully. Just ask Rove, Bush, etc. Of course, they still have a higher power to answer to. That's when the shit will really hit the fan!
