I read the quote.

At my instigation, someone in my family cornered Max Cleland at an event, got him in a small room, and talked with him about election fraud. This was probably two years ago.

Max said that he believed he lost because of the issue about the Confederate flag. It seemed like he didn't completely discount the idea that there could have been fraud, but he certainly didn't agree with it at that time.

Diebold was indeed in use in Georgia in 2002, the first state to implement DREs statewide.

If Max says more than something vague about Diebold, let us know, eh?

I'm tired of people focusing on the allocation of machines in Ohio. That's safe ground, like saying that the response to Katrina could have been improved. But, that is one of hundreds of instances of flaws and likely fraud in just the 2004 election.
