VIVACE: The Next Big Thing in Sustainable Energy?

While we continue to pull our hair out over high gas and electricity prices, a major breakthrough in sustainable, renewable energy generation is beginning to take shape in the Detroit River. Instead of suppressing natural water current eddies and turbulence, VIVACE uses them (...even in slow-moving streams, even in salt ocean water). University of Michigan researchers are now preparing to field test the new technology in a pilot project in the Detroit River between Detroit's Renaissance Center and Hart Plaza. With more support from investors and government, this could be a real game-changer.

I'm setting up a Facebook group where we can share the latest tidbits of information and latest news as this sustainable, renewable, clean-energy project moves forward. You are all welcome to join us there;
