Just a little too nippy up there for my tastes. Yes, come to Anchorage...we need all the Democrats we can get. :) As for Elmendorf, I think the plan is to kind of combine Elmendorf and Fort Rich into some kind of joint Army/Air Force deal. They seem to be fairly safe for the time being, but, yes, I was surprised that they were gutting Eielson what with North Korea so close. I'm sure Uncle Ted is doing some serious talking down in DC, but this may be something that even HE can't stop.
