Circumstances have changed. Two years ago, he was the junior Senator from MA, under Teddy's shadow. JK was mainly known for his investigative skills (so well shown off in last week's Condi hearings.)
Things have changed. He is a former nominee of the Dems for President. He has a soapbox now that he didn't have before. I am glad that he is using it. But it is new. This opportunity wasn't there before.
