10. Encouraging local coffee shops
This is an example of one of the things going on out there concerning economic activism.

http://delocator.net

They are acting as a counter against Starbucks and other big corporation coffee houses.

"On the Delocator.net web site, users are enlisted into a temporary coalition to post information about cafés in their neighborhood (for instance, location, hours, open mic. nights, local artist exhibits, book readings, wireless internet service availability, organic and/or vegetarian food options, etc.)"

If you know of any local, independent coffee house near you, you can enter the information.
