But only if you work for a company that builds luxury submarine yachts for billionaires.

At U.S. Submarines we have developed the world's first personal luxury submarines, capable of taking you and your guests to unseen regions of the deep ocean in perfect comfort and absolute safety. And once there, you are able to view the fascinating denizens of the deep through large, panoramic viewports, while relaxing in an interior replete with luxury and warmth.

Powered on the surface by twin turbocharged marine diesels, all of our luxury submarine models, with the exception of the small Triton 650, have extended surface range and are capable of diving to 305 meters (1000'). Bad weather? Simply close the hatch and dive, cruising effortlessly far below the waves in air conditioned comfort. The submarines' battery capacity and life support systems allow you to stay submerged for days at a time.

Our submarines are capable of running on the surface with diesel engines, diving for extended periods under battery power, surfacing, and then recharging batteries and high pressure air tanks while underway. The submarines have large acrylic viewports to provide their occupants with spectacular views of the undersea world. These unique personal luxury submarines also possess the qualities of a luxury yacht; an elegant and comfortable interior, a fully equipped galley, and in the larger vessels, luxury staterooms.

Sci/Tech: Go Nemo in your own Personal Luxury Submarine
Sunday, 08 April 2007 Written by Alexander G. Rubio

The age old question for the rich and the famous, "What do you give the one who has everything?" or give yourself, is, like most things, subject to inflation. Once it was enough to have your own luxury yacht to leave just about anybody in the dust in the conspicuous consumption department. But after a few years, too many mere mortals could afford one. And you can only get so far by trying to impress with size. Sooner or later you're cruising along in a supertanker, and driving a moped to the toilet.

So the new frontier in putting the serfs in their place was your own private jet. But even that was only good for so long. What's a poor multi-billionaire to do, when even crack-pot actors have their own private airport with 5 jets? Upstaged by a glorified disco dancer... Oh, the humanity!

And for those who have merely millions, and not billions...

Oceanpearl, the ultimate toy for the ultimate yacht,

The Ocean Pearl from SEAmagine submarines is intended as a recreational sub toOceanpearl submarine be carried aboard large luxury yachts. The Ocean Pearl features a spherical cabin giving an excellent 360° view for the pilot and passenger. The sub is capable of diving to a depth of 300 ft (91m) and has a range of 12 nautical miles. The Ocean Pearl can perform multiple dives in one day and can be run on the surface, simplifying launch and recovery.
