2. It's all in the blog but probably hard to follow...
Last year my son's Kindergarten teacher brought a paddle to the reading carpet in the first week of school and threatened the whole class with it. He suffered nightmares and now seems to have trouble learning at school. We switched schools first but the other county school was just as violent. Then we moved to Texas and found that school was forcing children to exercise as punishment. Recently we moved back to Arkansas because my family owns the property there and financially it made sense. As soon as I got back I was threatened with a lawsuit by the principal because I campaign against corporal punishment. Read "What is all the Hoop-la about?" on my blog. That post tells a lot. I am now going to this rally and then I don't know where. I have to make a home somewhere else but all the moving has tapped me out. That's why I had to leave my two children behind. I couldn't afford to take them with me. Honestly, we will be homeless but the alternative was to stay and get no where with these people plus it was suggested to me that even my physical safety could be in jeopardy if I continued to speak out against school corporal punishment. It is just a hostile area. I couldn't even stand to be there. The people including the parents up there think hitting children is actually good for children. Honestly, if I hadn't lived it myself, I would say this was a science fiction or better yet horror movie.
