 Ike Skelton is the Armed Services chairman....where any legislation repealing DADT needs to get passed. So who is Ike Skelton? He's just your average reactionary "Democrat" who voted FOR the Federal Marriage Amendment and AGAINST ENDA. The Armed Services Committee is also home to four of the most homophobic, traitorous "Democrats" in the House, Gene Taylor, Mike McIntyre, Dan Boren, and Jim Marshall. So I think it's safe to say we can forget about any repeal of DADT for a while....especially since the reactionary Taylor and conservative Democrats Solomon Ortiz or John Spratt are the people next in line to chair the committee.... :( |
