15. Would it were true...
This nation was founded on secular principles and by men who were determined to avoid having the Church intertwine itself in the workings of the government. This is indisputable.

However, to claim that this is a predominately secular nation is to ignore the incredible and concerted push in at least the last few decades by those who wish to ensure the privileged place of faith in this country.

If you think this is a predominately secular nation, then I encourage you to openly admit to your coworkers and your superiors that you are a-religious, and then see what happens. In my experience, it leads to some rather disastrous consequences.
