The Alliance for Democracy collecting donations for Ohio recount. The organization was founded by journalist Ronnie Dugger, who wrote one of the first major pieces warning of voting machine flaws, in 1988.

True Majority founded by Ben of Ben & Jerry's fame

Electronic Freedom Foundation moving under the Open Records Act, which allows people to see government records, to gather information, including the impoundment of voting machines, in some counties in Florida, Ohio, New Mexico and Pennsylvania that had serious problems with the machines.
