When I saw JK's face and heard his voice, I felt like I was seeing someone I loved who had died. I'm not normally one to adore a politician (and I certainly don't adore his "I agree with Bush on gay marriage" crap)...but I actually cried after watching this.

I have been literally ill for much of the past two weeks (debilitating headaches; will actually be going in for a CT scan), and I think it's from holding in this tremendous well of grief that is exactly like grief I've had over the loss of a loved one.

I do love his calm voice. Anyone see "Going Upriver"? It's amazing to hear him speak so calmly and eloquently in those Senate hearings.
