but nobody is suggesting it in any way.

Still, the copy-cat impulse is quite strong and some people might be prompted to do it. This, despite everybody suggesting that they not do it or even think about it.

No one should even think of destroying voting machines.

I hope everyone will remember never to think of destroying the voting machines.

For one thing, it's much harder to cover your trail if you're an arsonist than if you're just stealing elections that can result in endless wars and perhaps the destruction of the known universe by idiots elected only in cyberspace.
