She's merely replaced one software driven system for another...and, as you've pointed out, without consulting the people of Humboldt.

And while I also have applauded Trachtenberg's contraption, it too, is a software driven system...and one that's uncertified, and unsecured.

Neither either optical scan, nor either optical scan combined with Trachtenberg's system, is a substitute for hand counting enough ballots...either as a sole means of, or as part of an risk-based audit for...determining the outcome of an election.
