1. Republicans are against all voter registration efforts.
They know that when votes are suppressed they win.

Personally, since it is our right to vote, I don't think we should have to register at all. It is a citizen's right. Period. Not your right only if you don't move within 30 days before the election so there isn't time to re-register and not your right only if you weren't purged for lack of voting in the past. Your right period. But hate chances of getting national ID cards are zilch. the Repubs fixed that many years ago by tying the idea to the mark of the beast and other crazy right wing nonsense.
