31. Jonathan Simon, Election Defense Alliance

Simon is an historic figure. He's the analyst who captured the CNN delivery of the 2004 exit polls. There was some mistake at Edison Mitofsky that resulted in the release of the first three iterations of the polls. Kerry was winning in these national exit poll results. The results were not intended for public viewing so a controversy ensued which was the basis for the claims that the 2004 election was stolen. Simon is not working as a key member of the Election Defense Alliance.

2006 Simon says the fix is in. The Republicans will pull every dirty trick in the book to win.

You have freedom until the minute you dont

Monumental tasks ahead of us, he states.

Simon referenced rumors of the contingency presidency: circumstances under which the 2008 elections would be called off.

We need to rise up, not only to get the government to take notice; we need to rise up to see each other, to know that were here.

HR 550 to provide a false solution is to take a step back. Problems continues trend to federalize elections.

To expect this system, a fascist takeover of the country, to change is totally unrealistic.

Exit polling viable means of assessing the legitimacy
