NAYSAYERS MADE A COMPLETE 180 DEGREE TURNAROUND WHEN THEY
CANNED THE "RELUCTANT BUSH RESPONDER" (RBR) IN
FAVOR OF THE "EXUBERANT BUSH RESPONDER" (EBR).

NOW THEY CLAIM THAT THE NATIONAL EXIT POLL REFLECTS A
"BANDWAGON" OF BUSH SUPPORT FROM THE NATIONAL EXIT
POLL'S FINAL 613 RESPONDENTS WHEN ASKED "WHO DID YOU VOTE
FOR IN 2000" (43 BUSH/37 GORE).

WE HAVE SHOWN THAT 43/37% IS IMPOSSIBLE ON ITS FACE...

AND THE FIRST 13047 RESPONDENTS DIDN'T SHOW ANY SORT OF
"BANDWAGON EFFECT", ONLY THE LAST 613.

SO NOW, NAYSAYERS MUST ALSO AGREE THAT THE PRELIMINARY POLL OF
13047, WHICH KERRY WON BY 51-48%, WAS CORRECT. THE
RESPONDENTS TOLD THE TRUTH AND DID NOT INFLATE THE BUSH
NUMBERS (41/39) - THERE WAS NO DISCERNIBLE BANDWAGON EFFECT.

IN FACT, KERRY WINS EVEN ASSUMING A SMALL BUSH BANDWAGON
EFFECT, AS REPRESENTED BY THE 41% BUSH/39% GORE MIX, SINCE WE
KNOW THAT THE 41/39% MIX IS ALSO OFF, BUT CLOSER TO THE TRUTH.

BUSH 2000 VOTERS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HIGHER THAN 40% OF THE
122 MILLION WHO VOTED IN 2004. THAT ASSUMES 100% TURNOUT AND
EVEN INCLUDES 1.5 TO 2 MILLION BUSH 2000 VOTERS WHO HAVE SINCE
PASSED ON TO A BETTER PLACE.

NAYSAYERS, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

RELUCTANT OR EXUBERANT?

WILL YOUR NEXT ONE BE NONCHALANT?
