You have a way with words. And you are right about the ability to influence these people. While we see this huge, nefarious plan to suppress democracy, we need to remember that it is made up of mere individuals, some of whom ARE nafarious, but most are probably just doing what they think they are supposed to be doing. We CAN influence these people, just as we did Boxer, who would not have voted to contest the Ohio vote had it not been for us. It may not be as easy to get someone like Sensenbrenner to cooperate, but if we are careful and honest and fair when we contact him, I think we can.

We need to focus on his responsibility as Chairman to support investigations, regardless of partisanship. We need to be careful in our letters/calls to him and appeal to the positive issues of integrity and democracy, not the negative side like Blackwell sucks and Bush is evil...
