I think we're all pretty comfortable with the idea of "dropping a web link" into a blog posting.

It's become so commonplace, in fact, that the software here automatically makes the link for you, if you type anything starting with http://www.whatever ...

...But that's not why I replied to your thread. I thought you might enjoy reading this article, if you want to go back to the era at the dawn of the earliest memory any human yet living may have, regarding that whole ball of wax (conspiracies/oligarchic-plutocratic privileges the rest of us don't enjoy/J.Edgar Hoover/Smedley Butler/the origins of the neo-cons...):
