Texas DUers, can you give me a hand?

I need an email from you guys.

As you may know State Representative Joe Driver (R) got caught stealing $64,000 from the taxpayers by double dipping. He has plead guilty to abuse of office, a felony. He will be sentenced Dec 19th. (details here http://www.bayareahouston.net/2011/11/state-rep-joe-driver-gets-probation-and.html)

The Judge does not have to agree to the recommended sentence on Dec 19th which is 5 years probation and pay back the money to his campaign (not to the state) He will be able to use that money to pay his attorney. He also will keep his job, and his $57,000/year pension, and health care for the rest of his life. And after 5 years he is felony free.

Could you please send an email to the judge calling for a more severe sentence, something you and I, the average citizen would get if we stole from the State:

The Honorable Karen Sage
Blackwell-Thurman Criminal Justice Center

Austin, Texas 78701

Fax: (512) 854-6494

I have suggested that he get 10 years probation, a $150,000 fine, and pay back the $64,000 to the State.
