45. Honestly, I got caught up in some personal medical stuff.
I'll be calling this week.

I would be happy with some "canned" answers from a staffer, which would imply that someone has been talking about my issues. Some of the questions are blunt "yes/no" ("Will you pledge to attend funerals?") while others are deliberately open ended so she can tell me why she is qualified for the job she is applying for ("What will you bring to the table as expertise?").

One of the most important points for me is that *THESE ARE THE ISSUES* that get my activist blood boiling -- these are the things that motivate me to head down to a campaign office, and help make phone calls. This stuff is impacting my life (and that of the other people in my district), and I don't want some namby-pamby "see how nice I talk" person -- I want some blunt speech, ala Carl Levin, or John Conyers.

She only has a 2% chance of winning (based on incumbency rates), and she'd better raise some hellfire if she wants to get anything accomplished. If her opponent isn't blackened by the char from her righteous wrath, she's not getting anywhere.

My uneducated opinion, of course, and I'm just a programmer, so what do I know?
