Once upon a time, notable Republicans from MI included Gerald Ford (represented the Lower Peninsula from 1949-1973 and was a Minority Leader and the only non-elected president EVER) and George Romney (Mitt's father who served as governor from 1963-1969). Now you've got that union-busting xillionaire pig Rick Snyder and a bunch of psychopaths who've turned the legislature into a state prison by voting for a bullying apologist bill.
