3. Moyers on Channel 56
According to his website, Bill Moyers is on most PBS stations in prime time Fridays. Channel 56 normally has him on 1:30 Sunday, a time when very few viewers are likely to see the program. Channel 56 has three digital broadcast channels, it would seem that they could reasonably air Moyers on one of them. Local cable and dish only have channel 56 as their only PBS station, which is unfortunate because Moyers is on Channel 28 in Flint at the normal time. I have emailed and called Channel 56 to complain, and inform them that my $300 annual contribution is going elsewhere in the future because of this. I believe the board and management of channel 56 are conservative, and don't want Moyers to be heard in Southeastern Michigan. I would encourage others to email and call(248) 305-3788 Channel 56.
