2. I guess it is you!
I asked you in the other thread, which I got to first. Glad you're here. I really hope you'll be at the picnic on Sunday.

Once you donate, if you do, you'll be able to post in any of the groups (as opposed to the forums). The best place to hang out on all of DU, assuming you watch Countdown, is in the Countdown with Keith Olbermann group, or the KOEB. It's under the Politics, Issue and Media groups. Here's a link:

We call it the clubhouse and there are a bunch of us who meet there every night while we watch the show. We're all really friendly and get along great. Several of us have met in person and have become friends in real life, too. You can read there even before you donate, but you won't be able to post until you donate and get a star by your name.

There's a lot to see here and it takes some time to find your way around, but it's well worth the effort.

I usually check out Latest Breaking News, General Discussion, General Discussion - Politics, the Al Gore group, this Michigan group (you don't have to donate to post in the state groups) and a few others. Be careful in GD and GDP -- flame wars get started easily. Read all you want, but be careful what you post -- it can erupt at any time.

The Lounge can be fun sometimes, just silly sometimes, too.

Welcome to DU! When I see you, I can give you more info.
