What difference does it make that the girl's father is an asshole? So what if the GOP sent him there?

Was he disrupting the rally? If so, escort him out.

If he was just standing there holding a sign, leave him alone. And I can see now reason to justify taking the sign away from the little girl. That's just sick.

And what does this incident have to do with the grief-stricken mother who was hauled away from the Laura Bush rally?

Just because the Republicans act like assholes doesn't mean we should. I think Laura Bush should personally call that mother and apologize. And she should answer her question -- what did her son die for?
