You can sit on your pedestal pontificating. And then you might as well be part of the problem.

It's good to goad ... but only up to a point. Because the line between goading and obstruction is a very fine one.
True liberal legislators, like say, Anthony Weiner, know when to push and when to back off in the interest of actually getting something done. Something not perfect ... but perhaps perfecatble.

I sense a lot of people here would have opposed Social Security legislation back in Roosevelt's day, because not only was it imperfect, it was downright dastardly in some ways. But it was the toe in the door, and it was continually improved until it became the bedrock of progressive legislation.

So yeah, people like Kucinich and Big Ed get my goat. They are not helping anything, except themselves.
