The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson

Why is this man allowed to pack heat in a church yard where the president will perhaps pass by to enter the high school auditorium in Portmouth, N.H. for his 1PM ET townhall? (MSNBC just reported the church is not near the high school where Obama will be holding a townhall.)

Someone needs to get on this--and fast! Carlos Watson twice mentioned the man with the gun strapped to his leg, and showed the video footage--but make no mention of his sign!

Later Update: The local police tell MSNBC that the man is legally carrying the gun, is nowhere near where the President will be, and is "under constant surveillance."--dk
