My First Major Disappointment With Obama

All of his other appointments to this date I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt on, including Tim Kaine as DNC chair.

However, after Gupta was so soundly shot down by Michael Moore on CNN and Gupta was clearly and, for the record, WRONG (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanjay_Gupta#Michael_Moore_controversy ), I have to say, I'm completely disappointed in Obama with this pick.

Gupta is no doubt a shill for big pharma.

Gupta is clearly a partisan hack.

Gupta is clearly someone who does not thoroughly vet the truth on issues before going on CNN with what he *thinks* is the truth (a failing of many people who have high-level degrees).

Gupta is plainly not fit to be the Surgeon General.
