She could easily have been told to keep her hands off that item, and there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that other republicans have been given the same heads up. Note that we’re saying “should have” or “could have” and these are all conjectures, the same levels of arguments from silence. If you want to know why the media hasn’t touched this item, ask a reporter yourself. That’s why I’m pinging Salena Zito. Salena’s silence is an indicator, but we cannot argue from it validly.
