205. There you go again. Assuming you know all about Kerry and how he
feels. I have also read about him and studied him and I have another point of view. If he didn't have any regrets I would be very surprised. As it is, I am certainly not going to take your word for it. I will believe what I will based on how I have come to think about Kerry. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but it certainly doesn't trump mine. As, for the idea Kerry would want a Republican in the White House, where did that come from? My comments concern his tireless efforts on Obama's behalf. He could have done a quarter of what he did and it would have been more then enough. It was a Democratic year- everyone knew that. That is why Hillary waited to run in 08 and why Obama took the plunge. Of course, Kerry wanted a Dem in the White House and a 60 senator majority. I refer to the heat he took from the Clinton wing for supporting Obama early, his tireless defense of him,the fund raising etc- only to get ignored and look over for the likes of Clinton and a foreign policy wing that leans Conservative. You may believe that Kerry did all that because that is he kind of guy he is, but he went well beyond what was necessary and that lead people to believe that he was hoping for the SOS position. I was told this myself by someone close to Kerry back in 07, so my feeling are not coming from nowhere. Maybe he changed his mind, I don't know, but I do know Obama should have come out publicly and said Kerry was offered the position but turned it down. Instead we have the diva out there with her minions promoting the idea that Kerry was snubbed and Obama just ignoring it all. He owes Kerry at least some acknowledgment and respect. If not it appears as if Kerry and many others were used and discarded.
