This is a story about the woman living long enough to see the day when she could vote for a black presidential candidate. It's not "cute" - hell, it's not even really about Senator Obama. It's about a woman who's made it long enough to see a day she never thought she would.

Basically you're calling everyone here a racist, at least of the paternalistic sort, with your claims that people are going "D'awwww, lookit the cute widdle black people!" - Put a cork in it. People here are thrilled, just as this woman is, just as you are, to see this event in motion.
