91. Note to Palin/McCain campaign
(that rhymes and for some reason, that scares me)

Dear J & S,

Note to please reconsider usage of word "verbiage" as it could be construed by base as elitist, were either of you to suddenly become African American. Saw the native dress Palin was in at grocery store recently, and with those sort of exotic roots (not hair dye) she could be considered...well, uppity. So stick to agreed upon words only: country first, mission, god, terrarists, war on american way of life, newclear, life, and conservative. If you both are committed to party (also these words have been approved), you will find these words can be mixed up and reused in all kinds of ways!

Please have fun while on the campaign trail but do remember to stick to the script. Yesterday was an example of what happens when either of you improvise, and as Rove has tried to express to you both, we can not protect you in the event of your departure from the readiness of the pre-approved script. You have only to refer to Quayle if you doubt our greater knowledge on the subject. Remember, we got W where he is today. Listen to us and you will be international stars!

Limit comments re the economy to "the American people are hurting" and "change". We've been hearing them a lot and the masses seem to like them. However, remember they are more interested in you as people than your policy positions and in general, we prefer to remain flexible in the readiness regarding policy. Therefor, good topics are : babies, guns, recipes. That's what brings in the votes!

Regards,

S. Schmidt, Campaign Manager (GOPPER)
