25. Hard to see Obama getting over the top
West Virginia can be won by a moderate Democrat but I'm extremely skeptical Obama will come close.

It's an interesting state with heavy Party ID advantage toward Democrats, but most of them are moderates and you only get about 17% self-identified liberals. That changes the state dynamic in presidential races as opposed to gov race and otherwise.

This is a state where Hillary had a good opportunity but Obama needs a decisive national margin to yank West Virginia along. It's almost exclusively a white state and there's very little gender gap. The women vote side by side with the male partisanship.
