12. After every move by the McCain camps I hold my breath
Because I'm afraid he'll luck out with one of his desperate attempts at turning his campaign around, but he seems to have inherited the "un-golden" touch from Bush where everything he touches turns to shit, and the Obama campaign has proven itself more than competent enough to handle anything that comes their way. Palin is just the latest example of the republican Midas touch.

Even with the M$M desperately trying to prop up McGrumpy, I have a feeling that their plan to have him speaking from an area of devastation is not going to come out well. Bush, for the most part, could sober up enough and do his "man of the people" schtick passably for photo ops, but McCain doesn't have that ability. He's long sold out his soul to a worse extent than Bush even, and all that's left is a bitter, old man whose only reason for running for president is to be president. He won't be able to muster up a display of concern for what's going on if the hurricanes don't peter out (which I hope they do because that area doesn't need any more destruction, and their photo op would be even more meaningless).
