Obama Appears To Call Reporter "Sweetie"
14 May 2008 03:11 pm

An unusual video clip from Sen. Barack Obama's tour of the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Sterling Heights, MI today.

A reporter tries to question Obama about helping automakers.

"Hold on one second there, sweetie," he says.

The reporter's tag line: "This sweetie never did get an answer to that question."

Not a good move. He really needs a tonne of rest before the general election. Let's hope the nomination fight ends quickly; so, he can rest up in Chicago in strategy sessions with Plouiffe and Axelrod and not make so many gaffes in the summer.

I think this is an effect of just being tired. Still not good and still not acceptable though.
