3. I doubt that McKinney will win back her seat
The polls have indicated (I think they have come from the Levetan campaign but there have been several so they are probably accurate) that Liane Levetan and Cynthia McKinney are likely to enter a runoff with Cathy Woolard coming in 3rd place. I seriously doubt that McKinney can win a runoff since almost all of Woolard's votes are likely to go to Levetan. I just don't believe that a majority of GA-4 primary voters will vote for McKinney and she needs a majority to win.

Denise Majette is not going to be elected to the Senate. She is a very liberal Democrat and this is Georgia. Johnny Isakson appears likely to be avoiding a runoff since the polls show him just shy of 50% with a large undecided vote. If he just gets a few of those undecided voters he will avoid a runoff. Isakson will easily defeat Majette who is just too liberal to win statewide in Georgia under any circumstances.

Democrats can vote in the Georgia Senate primary and any number of them could guarentee an end to a runoff. But, Isakson is guarenteed a victory in the general election. A few conservative may refuse to vote for him but he really isn't that moderate. He is a loyal Republican and he will get the support of most conservatives.
