Elitism is a way of thinking. Obama demonstrates it over and over.

Clinton and McCain don't demonstrate it. It's as simple as that.

1. you purport to know Obama's thoughts, label them as "elitist" (code word for the bigots out there to fill in with "uppity"), and then excuse both Clinton and McCain from that label.

IMHO: the burden of proof is on YOU for your assertion that Obama is "elitist" and Clinton and McCain are not.

for my part, I can point to several elitist actions on the part mccain very easily:

1. McCain and Bush were laughing and eating cake at the most expensive digs in california to celebrate McCain's birthday while predominantly african americans were dying in New Orleans. can't get much more elitist than that.

balls in your court.
