I was not speaking of the evils of Madam Defarge at the end of her victory and her particular grudge, nor all the points covered by Dickens' fictional Character who, in fiction, was a grand spark of the revolution and it is that grand spark of which I speak.
I am speaking on the larger issue of overturning a "Privileged" very small section of our civilization who have gone way too far. IMO Dickens was speaking to an issue that is, power corrupts no matter who wields it, though in the end, in reality and in time, the French revolution was a good thing for France and finally, after the vicious and often heartless bloodletting, brought about a middle class.

I however at this time am speaking of putting a president in the white house Who will change the power structure for the good and not for the benefit of the powerful few; And that all of us, like Madam Defarge, who had a particularly personal grudge, have our own grudge against this govt. and THAT is our kind of grand spark. Those who would rise against the French aristocracy all had, in their own way, felt the deadly and heartless oppression against the many innocent as did the fictional character of Madam Defarge who, in the power of their victory became the enemy of decency and common sense and would commit heartless excesses of their own and it is thus the pendulum swings.
Fortunately the grand spark of our revolution is.......OBAMA
